Victor, Shaw & McCue is hiring a full-time Attorney to join our Fort Lauderdale office. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside a proven team of trial lawyers who have built a reputation as South Florida’s premier defense attorneys.
We are seeking candidates with 2–5 years of legal experience and a demonstrated ability to handle litigation matters from initial case strategy through resolution. Responsibilities
- Independently manage a caseload from inception through trial preparation and/or resolution
- Conduct depositions, hearings, and legal arguments in state and federal courts
- Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and other legal documents
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex litigation strategy
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
- Conduct legal research and case analysis to support litigation objectives
- Represent clients in court and mediation with confidence and clarity
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Member in good standing with the Florida Bar
- 2–5 years of litigation experience required
- Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
- Comfortable with case strategy, courtroom practice, and client interaction
- Motivated, organized, and ready to contribute to a high-performance legal team
